“Rally Day is Coming”
The mornings are getting cooler, it’s football season, school has started, and….it’s time for RALLY SUNDAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
On Sunday, September 16th, we will be reviving this tradition with some exciting events and guests.  At the 9:30 worship service…
Our new synodical bishop, Pastor Laurie Skow-Anderson will join us to share the Good News!   The senior choir will sing.  The cherub choir will sing.  We will hand out Bibles.  We will install Pam McCormick as our new Children’s Ministry director.  We will install our Wednesday School Teachers and celebrate the students.  There will be much prayer and singing and celebrating.   After worship we invite you to join us for a picnic, some fun kid activities and more conversation and celebration.  (we may have the Packer-Viking game on for those who need their football…wear your team colors if you dare!).
So why the celebration and what are we celebrating?  This is really a celebration of God’s love in our midst.  Jesus is present in our hospitality, in our praise, in the smiles of our kids and in the hard work and volunteer hours of our adults.  God is up to something here in Grantsburg and we are joining in that celebration.
 Thanks be to God!
